Maple Grove:

Maple Grove was incorporated in 1954 and is a vibrant and growing community encompassing 32.9 square miles in the northwest corner of the twin cities metropolitan area. Our population base continues to grow and is estimated to have increased 20.3% from 50,265 in the 2000 census to approximately 60,584 as of July 2006.

Maple Grove continues to spawn an abundance of housing developments, shopping, excellent restaurants and all the necessary conveniences. As I like to say, if you can't find it in Maple Grove, it probably doesn't exist!

One of Maple Grove's newest shopping attractions, and a destination sought by people throughout the twin cities is Arbor Lakes, located just north of Interstate 94. The area is a unique shopping destination featuring a diverse array of upscale national retailers and local boutiques interspersed with several fine and casual dining spots throughout it's European style walkways. Be sure to check it out when your're there!

Maple Grove is also part of the Three Rivers Park District with three of it's own fantastic nature preserves - Elm Creek Park Reserve, Fish Lake Regional Park, and Eagle Lake Regional Park.  We're also part of the North Hennepin Trail Corridor, which connects the Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park in Brooklyn Park to the Elm Creek Park Reserve in Maple Grove. This fantastic pathways system features 5.6 miles of paved trails for biking and hiking, and trails for horseback riding.
